Fattoria Tana Della Volpe

Tana della Volpe is an oasis of natural calm nestled on the hillside overlooking Sulmona and the Peligna Valley. Just a few minutes below the popular village of Pacentro, one of Italy’s ‘Borghi Piu Belli’, it offers the best of both worlds – a rustic Abruzzese experience in a rural setting, but within easy distance of services and amenities.
There are 3 bedrooms (doubles or triples) and each has either a shared or a private bathroom. All have fantastic views and are furnished in a simple but comfortable Abruzzese country style. There is also an additional 3-bedroom, self-catering village house in Pacentro itself.
The organic farm produces its own vegetables, olive oil and jams. There is also a Pony Club on site and a variety of instructional workshops covering a range of rural arts & crafts are run throughout the year. During the school holiday the farm also hosts a day camp where children of all nationalities are welcome and where they can enjoy the freedom and safety of the farm with a variety of activities including helping to care for the many animals.
At Fattoria Tana Della Volpe breakfasts, and dinner by request, are served in an ancient taverna and all home-made using only the best, fresh local ingredients – many of which come from the farm itself.

Come and enjoy authentic Abruzzese hospitality, immersed in the green of the wonderful Majella National Park. A unique and truly special experience.
